A New Discovery

Puck and his friends Willow and Holly can't go back to the dark forest. They can't go back to the cave of light for awhile as punishment, so where can they go?
Puck decides they'll follow the brook up in the hills and see where it takes them.

Puck must live in a beautiful place and even though it's a forest he seems to be always tempted by things. He's definitely going to have to learn to swim even if it's just to see what's across the other side.
I'd like to know who the girl is too. I guess we'll have to wait. :)

Lovely story. Puck is taking us in a different part of his own forest. Great exploration but there are a few obstacles for him here. We hope he learns to swim soon. Again very good pictures and great story.

Puck's going to have adventures on his side of the brook! Great! He's going to have to learn how to swim and we're all waiting to see how he will do this.
Wonderful story again and good pictures for the little ones.

What a surprise! I agree with Michael Arnold, the author makes each story fresh. Looking forward to finding out just what is interesting at the top of the 'great vine'. I know Puck will have to get back there soon.

Great to see Pucks side of the brook. Seems like he's discovered a lake? He'll definitely have to learn to swim, I can see that coming.
I'd like to know who the girl at the top of the great vine is too. Good to see characters that are not all thin and beautiful as depicted in most stories. Great lessons for kids. Beautiful pics.

My co-worker joined in the reading at work on this nine part of this series she was impressed and now she is going to get this series for her daughter, but I won for the most impressed person on the job because I was blown away with Puck's new discovery, love the way the author makes each story fresh!

Puck seems to be having a run of bad luck and I bet he's keen to learn to swim.
Another great story and yes, who is that girl?

What a shame he didn't get to explore another area but he seems to be taking it well. Willow really likes him but Holly is much more cautious of what he gets up to.
Another lovely story and great pictures.

Willow and Holly are very different and poor Puck is caught in the middle. I agree with the others, what else could he do?
Another great story and pictures.

What a wonderful life of exploration Puck is going to have. It isn't going to be easy for him between Holly frowning and the wizard roaring at him. I have no doubt he will survive everything and become a better person.
Wonderful story and wonderful pictures.

Oh poor boy :) It must be hard for him with Holly frowning all the time. She seems the best one to keep him out of trouble if he would only listen to her.
Lovely pictures again.

Poor Puck, how will he cope with temptation all around him. I feel sorry for the little lad. Wonderful lessons again. Nice pictures as well.

It's great there is a great vine on Pucks side of the brook but it's a shame he's not welcome there. It's wonderful that Willow doesn't want to change him and excepts him the way he is. Wonderful stories. Beautiful pictures.

I agree with the others, Puck might even teach himself to swim like I did. Bad move.
My youngest, 5 years old, was told to go to bed by his mother, he got up from the floor and said 'Oh Tiddlydoo' while giving her a disapproving look. He went to bed without an arguement. The look on her face was priceless.
Another great story here.

I agree with Daniel, temptation was right in front of him. What else could a little boy do?
Great group of friends here. I like Hollys responsible attitude.
I want to know who the girl is at the top of the great vine.

What did Holly expect Puck to do when temptation was put right in front of him?
I think he will want to learn to swim soon and I hope he gets a lot of help from the wizard. My daughter thinks the wizard will be kinder to Puck this time, I hope she's right.
The author should be commended, not for just writing these wonderful stories but for letting us read them to our children at no charge. I would have gladly paid for them.

I suppose this was a surprise for Puck. Someone telling him to leave. Poor boy. My daughter likes him very much and that's keeping her focused on what he gets up too.
Top marks to the author.

I'm guessing Puck is going to be very keen to learn to swim. I love the way everything facinates him. I don't think the wizard is going to be able to keep this little boy under control LOL Excellent story. Lovely pictures.

Puck has finally found someone that doesn't like him. That must have been a shock but he's a determined little boy. Looking forward to the next installment.

We liked finding the clues, the intrigue of not knowing who to trust in the variance of tribes. You really involve the reader in the chapters so its hard to put down. Excellent book, written very well with strength, without the use of vulgar language. Hig
